Andrew Gai shot a 70 (-2) at the Division I Championship at Fairview Farms G.C. in Harwinton to lead Staples (297) to a title. Simsbury (301) came in second place, and Fairfield Prep's Brian Hughes also shot a 70.
Other top local finishers included: Geoff Vartelas, Xavier, 71; Pat O'Brien, Simsbury, 73; and Jack Linehan, Simsbury, 74.
